Abinaya Balasubramaniam

Abinaya (she/her) lives in Toronto, Ontario, on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples.

As a Policy Analyst, Abinaya works to advance evidence-informed policies that support the full inclusion of people with an intellectual disability. Drawing on her experience in housing, homelessness, health equity, and community-based research, she is passionate about addressing systemic barriers.

In her free time, Abinaya enjoys longboarding around the city, trivia nights, and fashion design.
