Angela AuCoin

Executive Director, Inclusive Education Initiatives. Francophone

For more than three decades, Angela has dedicated herself to the field of inclusive education. As a professor at the Université de Moncton, she became known for her contribution to the report Consolider l’inclusion pour consolider nos écoles (Strengthening Inclusion, Strengthen Schools), the inclusive policy that followed having received international recognition in 2016.


Co-author of the book Inclusive Education: Stories of Success in a Canadian Context, she has also taken part in international research collaborations, further strengthening her commitment to improving inclusive educational practices worldwide. She has been part of the Inclusion Canada family since the 1990s and currently works as a consultant in inclusive education.


Since 2022, she has been living in Nova Scotia with her husband, where she enjoys spending her free time in her new art studio and camping throughout Atlantic Canada. She also volunteers in her community, helping to promote inclusive housing and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.
