Danny Soucy

Danny (he/him) calls Grand Falls, New Brunswick home—a community that has shaped his life and work. Today, he works nationally with Inclusion Canada as Senior Advisor, Leadership and Capacity Building, continuing a career of more than 40 years dedicated to inclusion, disability rights, and building strong, connected communities.

Danny’s path has always been rooted in people. With over 30 years in senior leadership, he has served as Acting Executive Director of the New Brunswick Association for Community Living and Executive Director of the Grand Falls Association for Community Living. Through Soucy Consulting, he has supported families, organizations, and leaders to grow, adapt, and create meaningful change.

He also served his community provincially as MLA, where he held key ministerial roles and worked to advance inclusive policies. Today, he continues that commitment as a municipal councillor.

At the heart of Danny’s work is a belief in choice, dignity, and belonging. At home, he and his wife Jacinthe are proud parents of four children and grandparents of 5 grandchildren. Known as “Pépère Soucy,” he’s happiest baking birthday cakes, hosting family gatherings, and celebrating everyday moments at the family cottage.
