Kabira (she/her) is based in Toronto, Ontario on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples.
Kabira is a dedicated advocate whose work is driven by a deep commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion. She has worked across mental health, addictions, housing, and financial support sectors, always guided by her commitment to social justice and breaking down systemic barriers. Her commitment to collaboration and inclusion shapes how she builds relationships and fosters meaningful connections with the community she serves. As a Regional Navigator, she can translate these values into action by supporting individuals and families with navigating and accessing financial supports such as the Disability Tax Credit and Canada Disability Benefit among others.
Outside of work, Kabira is an avid reader and active participant in Toronto’s book club scene, where she enjoys exploring diverse perspectives and ideas. Beyond reading, she enjoys city’s cultural events, meeting new people and exchanging ideas that inspire personal growth and community connection.
