Emily Dwyer

Emily has spent more than 20 years advancing social justice and human rights in Canada and internationally as a human rights advocate and government relations strategist.

Prior to joining Inclusion Canada in 2026, Emily served as Government Relations Officer for The United Church of Canada and worked for over a decade as the National Coordinator and Policy Director of the Canadian Network on Corporate Accountability, where she led national advocacy campaigns and helped establish the network as a leading voice on business and human rights in Canada.nEarlier in her career, Emily worked with Lawyers Without Borders Canada and human rights accompaniment programs in Guatemala. She has volunteered extensively with social justice and community organizations.

Emily holds a law degree from Dalhousie University, an Honours BA from Trent University and is trilingual in English, French, and Spanish.
